And now a stupid quote..........

I have always wondered if my major was a worth while effort. Well that question is now answered forever. I was reading my Metaphysics reading about the existence of universals. David Lewis says that universals do not exist that things can sometimes coincidentally be the same way but that two trees are not green. Yeah.........stupid nominalists.
But anywho, I found this quote today:
"Why call them properties as well as classes- Just to underline the fact that they need not be classes of actual things. The property of being a donkey, for instance, is the class of all donkeys. This property belongs to-this class contains-not only the actual donkeys of this world we live in, but also all unactualized, otherworldly donkeys."

This is academia at its dumbest.
I need a new major.
